If you have a workshop at home with a band saw or scroll saw and are willing to host sessions where scouts can sign up to have you (or one of us) rough-cut their wood, please let us know.  We are looking for a location to host this year's workshops.  If no one volunteers before the end of the week, the pack will purchase a scroll saw so that we can host the workshops.

The three extra trophies that will be handed out this year are:

-Most Creative

-Funniest

-Most fuel-efficient (slowest) *To be eligible for this award, the car must finish each of its races without interfering with other cars.  I understand this is a popular award in some other packs with people competing to build the slowest car.

As a reminder, each den's top three fastest cars will get 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals. There will also be trophies given to the fastest three cars of the whole pack. 

 If you took the 1:53 train home...please bring it back, Amtrak is looking for it.

Scouting for Food Part Two will be held this Saturday, rain or shine.  We will meet at 9 am at Del Rey for a brief safety talk and to form new groups with scouts who did not attend Part One. Then we will head out into our assigned sections.

Each group will need a driver who can slowly drive along while the bags of food are collected and placed in the trunk.  You can use a wagon and collect on foot, but wagons can fill up, so a car is recommended.  Collections will be brought back to Del Rey.
