Join us in the MPR at 6pm on Wednesday 9/17 for our Bobcat meeting.

We will cover the scouting Salute, Sign, Motto, Oath, and Law.  We'll have a wiggle break and then split into dens to make den flags. We will end by awarding the scouts with their first advancement and providing a cookie treat.  See you there!

We need to order the T-shirts by the end of the day Tuesday so that we will have them in time for the campout.  Please email us your scout's T-Shirt size if you haven't done so already.  Anyone that does not provide a T-shirt size will receive our over-sized guess.

Please join us on international coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday September 20th. We'll be joining the efforts to clean up Robert W Crown Beach in Alameda. We will meet at 9:30 am at the registration table near the native plant garden and bath house. Please sign up before the 15th so we can provide the organizers with an estimated count.

Registration for our fall campout 10/4-10/5 at Lake Chabot is now open.  The campout will be at the Hawk Ridge group campsite, a 30-minute drive from Del Rey.

Join us for our annual paper rocket launch kick-off.

At 6:05-ish we will have a quick opening ceremony and a brief demonstration of how to build the rockets.  Art supplies and construction materials will be out on the tables.  We will have a couple of older scouts roaming around to help with construction as needed.

When most of the rockets have been completed, we will wander out to the black top for our launches. 

We’ll need 3-4 parent volunteers to help supervise the air pumps, and the younger scouts will need help pumping as well.  We also need 1 or 2 standing bicycle air pumps with pressure gauges. Please let me know if you have one you can bring.  If we don’t have enough volunteers, a couple of lucky parents will be recruited from the audience.
